Hey there wise BP Pro members.Here's the situation....I am looking to do a flip in Tampa next month (where I grew up, have family, and can find reasonable deals) even though I live in LA where a shoe box costs 400k.

I am curious to know how various landlords deal with tenants wearing shoes inside the units.

Not a place you'd send your Grandmother for an afternoon stroll, but within that neighborhood, there are boundaries that aren't known without knowing the market.  

If I was in your shoes I'd just let it marinate for a few months until you see who are the good vs. bad renters.

If I were in a loaner's shoes, my first thought would be run, haha!

The contents inside the home were eerily untouched - food in the fridge (gross), clothes in the dressers, furniture, end tables, tools in the workshop, toys, shoes, etc.It took me and another guy a week to catalog everything and donate it all in the hopes I could perhaps write it off.  

If in your shoes, I'd limit myself to markets where I know people.
