@Odie Ayaga @Vincent Priore @Kerry Mertz  Good points, I do believe I have my broad stroke goals in mind. 

Many times it's how things are presented to mortgage underwriters that make all the difference and a good broker knows how to stroke them just right to ease their fears. 

It sounds (and is) ghoulish but of the last three properties we acquired two involved owner deaths and the third a stroke. 

Partnerships founded only because neither has all the money to do on their own have a higher failure rate.Just broad stroke observations.

I am still not walking, from a brain annurism and a stroke I had a little over 6 years ago, are not walking yet but I am trying and making slow recovery.

I don't care how you break things up and try to hide them they can be found, the dots can be connected and any entity can be wiped out with the stroke of a pen from a judge.The best liability protection is to first do the right thing!
