LA is super competitive and pricey, but there are plenty of people making money there.You need to make a plan and work it, but I dont agree with the people here, if you've got 5+ paid for houses and they aren't kicking of enough to live on in a decent city, I'd dump them and use that money to do a flip or two, then start accumulating some rentals in a better area if that's the path you wan to take.
