Most typically you'd hear this term in commercial leasing where the tenant reconfigures an office space or builds out a retail store/restaurant space.

I agree stick to more common asset classes like build to rent and horizontal, 3 story walk up apartments, mixed use, commercial planned development, planned developments for residential, hotel / hospitality, single and multi tenant retail, office. 

And my strong B and A class I just have an agent place the tenant then my office staff handles it from there which is just maintenance calls. 

Is it office, multifamily, NNN, car wash, self storage, debt fund etc.

Bank properties are effectively office space in a retail corridor (typically).
