I did not have to do any updates or renovations to this home as it was a fairly new build upon purchase.5 bedroom, 4 bathroom, 3,446 square feet.

I would really like to have a bathroom and kitchen remodel completed before the end of April, and further down the road would need a detached garage built.Thanks all!

Just to give you an Idea on some numbers , I am doing a 2100 sq ft house , class A neighborhood ,  clean out , removing some walls to go open floor plan , minor electric , some mid level replumbing , full custom paint , new kitchen , new bathrooms ( 2.5 ) , new windows , refinish hardwood upstairs , Vinyl plank downstairs . 

With a shell, depending on a few things the materials alone can cost 100k before even  bathrooms or windows in.

Firstly, in terms of breaking down the asking price, it would be reasonable to split it based on the ratio of the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in each house.

Hi BP members,  I never followed market trend in the past and I would like to know : Do townhomes of comparable size, number of bedroom/bathrooms, same vicinity/neighborhood appreciate @ similar rate(%) as SFH? 

I don't plan to do anything too major on my first one (like adding bedrooms or moving walls), but it would be nice to be able to update a kitchen or bathroom.

Age of the home, neighborhood, price range, no. of bedroom/bathroom, type of roof, any other features/specs?

Minus the bathroom, everything else is pretty new.

All new electrical, plumbing, flooring, kitchen, bathroom, walls.
