However as noted above you can hire 5 different surveyors to do the same job and you will have 5 monuments within inches of each other it is very common that survey's don't align If this is a resi lot where a fence a a few inchs one way or the other does not matter not worth all the expense to fight over a tiny amount of land just come to an agreement with the neighbor and move on..

Thanks Chris.It is just that an attorney website posted that umbrella insurances are notorious at denying the claims or making excuses to fight any lawsuits.FYI: I already have umbrella insurance but all my friends and CPA suggested I create an LLC for rental property.

But one must start somewhere, one must finally take real life action, and one must continue to fight the good fight (stay focused, don't give up, always strive to learn new things, always network, and keep pushing the limits of your goals).

Sorry, but this sounds like you're looking for a way to pick a fight with your wife.

But some companies do it themselves, and I guess have the ability to make mistakes or do bad things.I would fight this.

I plan to keep looking, fighting the urge now to give up and go back to renting for another year. 

I have an HOA that I would like to fight; they are trying to restrict me in an overreaching way that is not a part of their policies.

I would think once they signed and sent payment it is going to be much harder to back out but that also depends on how hard they choose to fight it.
