Here is why this is a scam.If I gave someone the opportunity to deposit there money in an account and guaranteed that in 60 days they would get it back plus 40%, and I actually delivered on my promise, then I wouldn't need to go looking for any more investors.The first person I gave this opportunity to would do it again and again and again.

She has lived there for almost 30 years (keeps her apt immaculate) and when I went to raise it the second time she asked if I could keep her rent at the same level because she would be moving out soon to go to an assisted living building that was being built in the area but she didn't know when she would be able to move it at which time I told her that I would be waiting for her written notification to vacate and that I would be raising her rent in 3 months had I not received it.So after that experience I have now decided to not hand deliver rent increases.

Although I wouldn't have a clue about the local laws of Illinois, in my opinion, first of all, a "mechanic's lien" typically is filed by a vendor... for example, a garage mechanic files for an unpaid auto repair bill, or a lumberyard files for supplies delivered to a site but not paid for.

I actually have saved some investors from making bad decisions on certain areas I know would be a problem and by doing that I gained their trust so they go through me because they know I will deliver on my service.
