I can appreciate your frustration but this post is a good example of why we should re-read anything done in anger the next day before we hit "send" or "post".

I reread the terms and it's true that they are charging that fee for handling utilities. 

Maybe you have partners who own the other portion of the business or some other stuff not disclosed on the thread or maybe I'm not getting the whole picture and haven't had enough coffee, but when I read it and the reread it, I keep getting the same answer and none of that stuff depends on the lender; none of them like to be lied to or manipulated.There are very creative ways to structure loans. 

The number of middle managers making this kind of money in the Bay Area is frankly pretty staggering.Edit: re-reading your post I think you're missing a point on how RSU packages work.

Here’s a quick update on the journey to purchase a small multifamily house hack.At first I considered San Antonio, but am currently considering the Phoenix market, also (as I’m already here spending time with family and enjoying the area).So far, I have:* I have studied and re-read Rich Dad, Poor Dad and read the Cash Flow Quadrant, and today I started Josh Dorkin’s and Brandon Turner’s How to Invest in Real Estate.* Increased my savings rate and now have over $10K and a much better credit score.

I thought the money may be for deposit on an offer but rereading it that is not the case.To me this smells scam.
