The more you demo the more you spend.

I recently did a complete demo for a 7500 SF space between three retail units and combined them into one coworking space.

It gives the "illuaion" you did quality finishes.Paint the walls, a nice blueish grey color and paint all trims white.I would NOT demo the house.

He is the bomb and the only Contractor in my history that ever gave me money back at the end of my job because it the demo cost less.

If so, I would explain the situation and attempt a discount for the demo and rebuild of a garage that would be basically a functional structure, since that might be what you end up with.

He asked about the money i owed him and i said "write down what you have finished and i will tell you what you will get". he said "i dont have time to spend on going over items i did for you"....btw, there isn't a single thing he actually finished. except demo, which he got paid for.the more contractors i come across, the more conflicts i have. first 3 houses i did 98% of the work myself, so i had no problems. last 2.....nothing but problems because i keep trying to get away from doing the work myself.

After demo you use 2"x6" to build the trusses. 30 2"x6"x16' or 20'28 sheets of drywall hung and finishedLighting, Wiring, SwitchesApprox.

Take pictures of the property AFTER the demo.
