I'm looking for insights on the Silver Lake area and Upper South End area of Providence.

I'm open to any options for monetizing the property(renting, buying a fixer-upper and reselling, building on raw land) My personal goals are as follows:Get my dad into real estate investing.

As you figure this out- and buy accordingly- things should improve.Anyway, sorry for the long post, but I’m considering upscaling my portfolio- trimming the lowest quartile of my properties(which take more management than the upper 75% of the portfolio,) and segueing into more mixed-use and commercial properties.

My interests lie in small-multifamily fixer uppers in Massachusetts (central Mass, Merrimack valley and Norfolk county just south of Boston). 

We were wanting to do a fixer upper home to live in for a few years.

I just don't want to see investors trick themselves into thinking that this family below is moving into their $15,000 house...........They ain't.Myself I prefer upper C-Class to B-Class investments at this point in my life.

Fast forward to now we have established an LLC and purchased a fixer upper CASH but need to sale the initial house to make the repairs.

We're in a pretty solid upper-C level neighborhood.

13k per month, the owner of the lease wants 200k to walk away. for those who know the upper west side of Manhattan is a great location!!

So if I understand this correctly, it’s possible a lender may not give a loan if the property is a “fixer upper”, but a way around this is to use a 203k streamline and make improvements to the property?
