I suspect you'll gain a lot of valuable experience from that.A ground-up build or demo and build is a pretty big undertaking for a novice.You might see if you can find an experienced investor to split the deal with.

If I can get away with jetting it every time there is a sewage back up, then that is what I will do.It seems like the Health Department is trying to force me to undertake the work to replace the line but I don't see how they can do that if someone doesn't have the funds available.On another note, I had to pay for extensive clean up of both my property and surrounding properties where there was sewage overrun.
