Raleigh/Durham area (also known as Triangle area) has become known for research and tech companies.  

The Texas Triangle of Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio and Austin is on fire.

Get an idea of the configurations and cabinet sizes.  18"', 24" 36", etc.Research the Kitchen Triangle ( sink, stove, fridge)Then, get on craigslist and search for "Kitchen Cabinets" or "Used Cabinets" you can pick up a whole kitchen for about a thousand bucks including appliances.You can put a dishwasher within a few feet of the sink.  

Some of them are little triangles of land that someone accidentally bought, stopped paying taxes on them because they are worthless and voila a tax lien/deed sale.

Has anyone had luck wholesaling sub2 deals in North Carolina, more specifically Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill? If so, which attorneys have you used to close?

I live in the Triangle and the market is booming, so I have a considerable bias here. 

I've primarily lived in the Triangle area (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) and recently moved a little westward as the REI growth is spreading to bedroom communities.

I would look at proximity to I-85 and related to that, drive time to the Triangle - on both fronts, the shorter the better.
