While there clearly is the possibility to make money in Somalia, given the things like coups, islamic terrorists, political instability, rampant crime, and lack of personal safety, the risks seem to far outweigh the rewards. 

Meanwhile they aren't even properly prepared because  their focus is solely on forming Wyoming LLC's  but lacked the appropriate types of insurance, operate with unlicensed and uninsured vendors, never sign contracts etc.

You have the problem common to a lot of people getting started; wanting to invest but lacking sufficient capital.

Sure, in theory, the strategy this investor used might sound clever, but it’s also incredibly risky to rely solely on the compliance of a borrower—especially when they might not fully understand the terms or simply can't agree due to their personal situation.I have tons of ideas that might look good on paper, but I don’t pursue them because I assess the real risks involved.

So I simply ended up buying it from my wholesaler.

If you don't have an agent, for lack of a better term, be a pest and make sure they get those issues taken care of and show them the full formal inspection done, its a NEW house for crying out loud!!

I earned good money as a server and simply used it to go on my next adventure and that was all I really needed.
