That is not the same as accusing you of drug activity and is a heads up to you as to the image you are conveying to others in your building.I get the message that you do not care what others think of you or your friends but do not be so knave as to not accept that you are judged by the company you keep.Your circle of friends are sub par for the area you live in and your neighbours are most likely concerned for their safety.

And I was surprised to learn a select few companies have prioritized quality over quantity.

They're more concerned about keeping their money than growing it, and willing to sacrifice returns for more safety.

If so, what can I do to protect/risk mitigate fire/safety issues? 

Since completing the work, the rents have gone up 2.5x and the property value, based on recent appraisal, has gone up at total of $2M.Everybody has time, it is just a matter of how you prioritize it... 

In can be put on the outside of door only if you fear for your safety Certified and regular mail

Team up with them and learn from doing and still have the safety of their experience. 

They did address all of the safety and major inspections items on my inspection report and got a tenant in a timely matter. 

Other than "safety", the biggest problem might be the dreaded: deferred maintenance!

AJ,Anything to do with locks on doors, windows, lights outside,  etc.... is very important to me for liability/safety issues.
