@Igor Arango....I understand your anxiety but it is just a story in your head...a limiting belief.  

Plus the anxiety of dropping 500k on an investment that might not work out is too much for a lot of people.House hacking in the traditional sense is a bit invasive if you have a family.

As far as the 'out of pocket' cost estimates go, I absolutely agree they do vastly underestimate these funds which  consequently leads to severe anxiety issues just days before closing!

@Erin AumanHere is a good clinical psychologist that has some good tips on what to do in social situations if you have a lot of social anxiety or if you're not good at talking to people.

Can you imagine what the 80's and COld War would have been like with todays work to capitalize fear, anger, anxiety, insanity of "news"?
