I am surrounded by short term rental houses and just wondered if there are any good resources or tips for people doing outdoor rentals.

Pooja, there are a lot of benefits of getting a cost seg done on a STR, since you own all of the furniture and appliances, etc.

Bring in food trucks and outdoor movies. 

Like colors/furniture/lights/etc.

It was located in a desirable neighborhood and once renovated would be the perfect home fro people who desired access to outdoor activities while at the same time being with oin walking distance to a vibrant down town with great restaurants and brew pubs.

Or sell off the furniture and rent it out unfurnished.

I’d consider moving especially If you have job prospects in the new community, and I’d certainly recommend researching it well before considering moving there in terms of life style, outdoor activities, night life, schools if you have or may have children, travel accessibility (highways, airports) sports teams if this is important to you, etc.

Enjoyed them both very much,  and felt far safer as we could drive and then spend most of the vacation outdoors.
