I will be sending a letter requiring the cat to be removed.Alternatively, IF the cat is removed, and because they are otherwise good tenants and pay rent on time - I've permitting a new lease, if they are willing to put down a deposit that will pay for new wood floors and odor removal when they move out.

The other tenants shouldn't be forced to live with an animal if they find the odor or presence offensive, are allergic, etc.

Even though they signed addenda that state AS IS WHERE IS, you might be surprised what people get away with.I don’t suspect foul play, unless the agent is dumb as rocks (further comment withheld ïŠ) and likes to play with fire.
