When I mentioned I was looking for another lot to build a custom home in 3-5 years (rental in the interim) she did not seem too keen on the disruption this could cause young children (the same neighborhood and school no less).

Its going to be fascinating to see how this lands, who and how will the industry be disrupted.  

Property management is ripe for disruption in general and until it is in your market I vote for DIY if you are up for the challenge.

The hotel business model is ripe for continued disruption.

Group the showings to minimize the disruption and get a new tenant in place. 

Things that disrupt our comfort zone often trigger worry and perfectionism.

The states are sending checks now, student loan forgiveness is massive...another $500 billion that impacts 37 million people, and the doubling of the child tax credit will surface again.Inflation was caused by massive stimulus, supply chain disruptions, going to war, not enough drilling, limited immigration for 1-2 years, 2-4 million extra early retirees, 2-3 million extra people on disability due to long covid, and 1 million more people passed away (some of which were workers). 

Giving notices and disrupting tenants over and over is for the birds. 

WFH macro trend...disrupts the "People following jobs theory". 

This market is disrupted and it WILL affect all of us.
