Just be realist and don't drink the RE gurus "get rich fast" cool-aid.10.

I also desired to have a lot more money and had a tendency to be aggressive short of buying lottery tickets, which I knew were not a reliable means of getting rich.

No matter what TV says, this is not a get rich quick avenue.

This isn't easy and it isn't some get rich quick job.

[Unfortunately, living in SF where investing in real estate is too rich for my blood - I'm an out of state investor in Atlanta].I have to give them 30 days notice to drop them according to my agreement (which I could start today for end of November) -- but then the property would still remain vacant and being an out of state investor - I'd have to find another PM to take over.  

I also agree that a lot of wholesalers have no idea what they're doing, and that they start cutting corners when they realize it's not the get-rich-quick scheme that they were led to believe.
