The market here in Cleveland is rapidly evolving an very "block by block."

They bought a house two blocks from where I grew up and I really enjoyed the summer I spent helping them fix up their place.

I'm not anti animal in general and have an animal friendly building 1 block from my  'unreasonable burden' one, FYI.

It is a beautiful house with walkout basement into a gorgeous backyard and <1 block walk to get to the river.

Many of these areas change dramatically block by block so its hard to assume every street in a certain neighborhood if bad.  

On a side note if anyone knows which Biggerpockets podcasts were great financing episodes please let me know.My predicament is that I have a 6 unit property for $150K three blocks from my house. 

- remove existing tile - remove drywall in surround and window area to the ceiling - replace drywall with hardibacker redgard hardibacker large porcelain tiles (16x16, 12x24) with smallest grout spacing possible- highest quality caulk that is mildew-resistant - tile floors, 4" base/behind/beside toilet, in addition to tub surround all the way to ceiling - angle tiles away from block window - re-install shower curtain rod  - replace fan/light with higher-performance model with humidity sensor - inspect fan ventiliation to confirm vent going through ceiling - inspect bath, sink, toilet plumbing and waste drainpipes - add quarter turn water shut-off valve - replace bath fixtures to single stem handle - replace bath drain with grid drain

mortgage foreclosure have a one year right of redemption in AL  not sure tax sale.. these are outlier deals.. can they happen sure .. just like the couple that bought the street in presidio heights in SF for 9k.. and blocked off 10 million dollar homes..

I just changed jobs with a huge pay cut (commute from 1 hour driving to walking 3 blocks - hooray!)

The new owners immediately planted well over 50 maple trees to block the across the street neighbor from ‘spying’ on them.  15 or so more years later it was sold again and . . .
