the AAPL  association is a decent group for private investors they put out a nice monthly magazine and such.. main thing is you want to check in the state your lending to make sure your loans are exempt from needing a RMLO license.12 states you need one for 1 to 4 unit resi properties no matter the purpose owner occ or not..  

Just finished reading a article on where to snag a hot deal in the US, which was featured in the Canadian Real Estate Magazine this month.

ANY SUGGESTIONS ON BOOKS, ARTICLES, MAGAZINES ETC.?

for $16 a year I get great discounts and access to health insurance, as well as AARP The Magazine!!

As a New Yorker I find that my market is a real cash flow play opposed to appreciation.

@Tiffany Campbell Hello there, I read your welcome post, I too am a transplanted New Yorker, grew up upstate(Schenectady), went to school in Philly, moved to brooklyn in 2011 and moved back to Philly last year.
