Self managing can be tough depending on how many properties you have in your portfolio and how much time you have to dedicate to it.

I would research New Western and Net Worth first, both have many threads on this forum dedicated to investors experiences with them.

There are a few things that are different about financing a mixed-use unit but one of the more important is how much space is dedicated to commercial and how much to residential.

My schedule right now is crazy and I cant dedicate as much time as I'd like, but nights and weekends are key.For our out of state properties we have an excellent property manager or family that help out.
