As for sources, in my area, there are businesses who specialize is refurbished items or surplus supplies. 

They did say USA funding but couldn't supply how they are able to offer such funding without collateral of any kind.

I personally like to target tertiary markets 45 min to an hour and a half outside of a major metropolitian area with a large supply of multifamily.

A twelve unit I have has windows in the shower................I supply a 'shower curtain' that covers the window; it provides protection from the water and privacy for the tenant.

They also have unlimited supply so more supply than an 80 gallon tank water heater.

They're not only expensive, but almost impossible to reach  - a function of supply and demand, but also told there's partiality to locals and we're not.So is there such a thing as traveling contractors, and if so, where can they be found? 

I get how you are looking after them so they don't have to carry heavy furniture upstairs to their room but for example if you get an apartment, the apartment complex is not going to supply you with furniture because even though you might have to carry that furniture upstairs it is still understood that you would be bringing your own furniture.
