@Timothy M WeberAs a contingency I would certainly want to look the leases in detail Look them over Good *before I agreed to the sale I also would specify that the seller is to give notice and get sIgnatures to all tenants in any and all units involved that they must vacate and the lease is not being renewed .

Going forward, every renewal I will have them complete tenant information update sheet.

I have been renting out a single family home in Connecticut for a year now and my tenants want to renew there lease for another year and they've told me they plan to buy a house in the town my home is located at the end of the next year lease.

The new property owner inherited two tenants but in their previous leases that stated the tenants renewed for the 2018-2019 school year, the payment and maintenance requests are forwarded to the former owners.

Try your best to wade through this and issue a non renewal paper when you get 60 days away from renewal date now you wIll know what to add to your lease for next time .

Then I’d reevaluate and possibly just not renew my leases if profits aren’t worth the effort that is being put into the business.

Separate your emotions from your business and get rid of the dog.I would non renew their lease to reduce my risks.

I'm pretty sure it's legal in NM and they include it into the lease, but they dismissed me when I threatened not to renew my lease over this.
