When I went to check it out, I noticed that the blog page is a place for serious discussion, and I regretted trying to post it before actually going to the blog page; in fact I didn't know there was a central blogging page (but it didn't get published so that's good :-).

I don't, so in my state I can be a bit more lenient in publishing my criteria, but my criteria is very broad:Complete applicationVerifiable rental historyNo prior evictionsSufficient income/resources to pay rent and liveCredit report showing prior addresses consistent with application No level 2 or level 3 sex offendersTo me the credit score is part of the sufficient resources.

The one accurate thing I have found the IRS to publish is the amount of time they estimate educating and filing a form will take at the beginning of each set of instructions - some of them cite 40 hours and I've found that to be about right the first time around - the second time is much faster.Thanks federal and state government!

That seems to be the case if I look at the IRS publication stating "Under §1.263(a)-1(f)(1)(ii)(D), a taxpayer without an AFS may elect to apply the de minimis safe harbor if,among other things, the amount paid for the property subject to the de minimis safe harbor does not exceed $500 per invoice (or per item as substantiated by the invoice) or other amount as identified in published guidance issued by the Treasury Department and the IRS."
