I can tell/ask him anything and it is covered under client/attorney privilege.

I would consult an attorney if you want to be 100% safe, but I don't think there is much about a lease agreement that could be considered privileged information. doctors and lawyers cannot divulge personal information because it is considered to be given in confidence.
