If you don't have a primary residence yet, I would highly recommend house hacking first.This is a great strategy to use low money down, get into an investment property, have a roof over your head and still keep a large portion of that inheritance.

I'm actually a District Manager with Build 2 Rent here in Florida and we have off-market multifamily properties (both occupied and vacant) that you can purchase with a primary residence loan and interest rates in the low 4's.
