@Johann Jells - you usually need 69" clear height and 36" clear width for today's larger fridges or the side-by-sides I usually install in my shared housing units.

Rehab per unit can be light at 2k to 3k, to medium at 5k to 7k, to a gut stud job at 12k to 14k a unit.

The renovations I'm interested in are more than "paint & carpets" but will not include additions, foundation work, or other major work (hopefully).Essentially, my strategy is to perform medium-level difficulty work on a 2-4plex with the intention of staying in one unit and renting the others out.

Major problem is there is a long (but only one car-width) driveway, so if they both are using it, one is always blocking in the other person.I have a few other properties that this is the case, but fortunately my tenants have all worked it out amongst themselves, however in this situation they just cannot.I have a few ideas, but want other people's thoughts, experiences and advice.Many thanks in advance!
