And also, if they can tell that you put in new kitchen cabs and counters, they will make the new kitchen meet the current codes with regards to outlets, even if you didn't change the kitchen layout one inch. 

The basement unit has mold on the drywall and the bathroom layout requires you to squeeze by the sink to get to the toilet.

I was thinking office too, but it's such a weird layout I'm concerned it'll keep the house from selling in a timely manner.
