Hopefully the seller has an experienced negotiator who will get answers out of the lender(s) in a timely fashion so that the process isn’t too drawn out.Would be happy to refer an experienced realtor in the Portland area who is familiar with short sales, if you are looking for one.

My personal preference is to look at metrics which take the opportunity cost of capital into account such as internal rate of return (IRR), net present value (NPV), or profitability index (PI).
