You can't just throw up new complexes left and right like you can in Kansas where it's flat and you simply build outwards.

From a civil engineering perspective, I have experience creating civil engineering site plans and permitting for apartment complexes in Houston. 

These are more complex legal structures that can provide even more protection than a traditional LLC alone.
