I have seen everything from single-family homes, apartments, and large multi-family buildings go green/near-net-zero and at the same time: increase revenue, decrease warranty issues, decrease turnover, and have happier renters who take better care of their units.

You also have the option of offering to split it with the tenant, but again this increases cost for the tenant and decreases likelihood they will apply.

If the area has a significant population decrease over the past 10 years, you probably won’t ever fill your lots.I have purchased parks in poor condition and I figure 2 years to turn them around but you need a pool of possible renters or owners to pull from.

Profit sharing plan can shield around 60k of income. 3) Hopefully, you/brother also have IRA and HSA to decrease your AGI. 4) You can lease the property to your corp allowing withdrawal of cash from the business that is not subject to FICA (rather than paying yourself a compensation).
