@Jeffrey Stasz are you talking about concealed minisplits which are mounted behind sheetrock with nothing but a grill showing?  

Seems like cost could quickly mount up!

Thus far it has been a positive response.I told my wife I was thinking of finishing the garages off ,like my own finished "mancave" garage by adding a ceiling fan,ceiling mount heater,an additional outlets...

Many tiny houses come mounted on a trailer so they can be moved in the future.

So you can end up with some mounting financing problems.Personal opinion, you see a lot of "this strategy worked for me" during the good times when home prices are rising 5%-10% a year.

Do you actively manage these properties and enjoy them or are the hassles mounting and looking for more passive ownership where a professional manages them for you?
