Had court date 8/1, they no showed, so we have default judgement.

They are perhaps trying to rival the IRS in complexity.

Its powerful, and can be as complex as you want it to be.

Tenant friendly state shouldn’t be a concern IMO, just screen tenants well, be professional and buy in a good location and you probably won’t ever have to deal with the courts.

It just adds another layer of complexity to the process, it will hurt part-time agents and drive many out of business, which is frankly not a bad thing.Buyer-side commission is now no longer set as a typically uniform percentage on MLS and fully negotiable.

Yes you could sue but try explaining to the court what you were trying to do and hope they side with you.
