I have seen that In Oregon were folks did not know they needed to be licensed for 1 to 4 unit loans no matter if it was for commercial purposes.. some big HML missed it..

We keep hearing stories of people building large portfolios in a very short amount of time, and kept wondering what we were missing. 

I have taken a few construction loans from the national HML and its quite frustrating and I only do it when my bank Credit lines are maxed and there is a project that still is profitable and I don't want to miss it..
