I think that’s what holds people back most- fear due to the unknown and basic lack of knowledge. 

@Chris Wilburn,I think rents are staying high due to lack of inventory.

It gets confusing with the lack of MLS data and information about recent sales, which makes it harder to conduct comparisons, etc.

Looked into corporate direct as well and was turned off by the lack of customer service from there sales/intake team. 

If you are lacking in any of these aspects it's very easy to bring on a partner because you are buying with an LLC in most cases.
