Roofs in my area are pretty steep, not many contractors and most folks try to get oil field jobs that pay $30 an hour and up. 

Does anyone have any insight on how the recent layoffs and closings of several oil field companies are affecting the real estate market in Alberta Canada.

My grandmother is one of these people to me, she buys essential oils, and quarter collections, humidifiers and dehumidifiers cause somehow having both running is better than having neither. 

And the small desert oil towns have their own RE cycles based on recessions, booms and which fields get opened and closed.Prices were not out of control late1990s.  

There are plenty of people looking for them and you're a small fish. 

If I paint over old wallpaper and cut the seams and repair and use a oil base if that easier than removing the wallpaper.What do you any of you suggest?

I'd rather go fishing or go get a tan.Regarding estimates, those were from his contractor -- if what he said was true; but I can't go as far as starting to spend money on inspection when he has no real intention to sell.
