Does anyone have suggestions for a solid reputable company that conducts home inspections in SD county? Would like to find someone that has a positive history rather than going to a rando.

If your intent is to go ahead with the purchase how do you get around the inspection fee...another words do investors as a regular practice PAY an inspector to inspect the property even though its not really yours yet ...and may never be??

HUD inspectors can be a hard sometimes.

However, the inspectors are a huge pain in the neck.

If a new construction house costs 300k but a preexisting home costs 275k, that premium might be worth doing.
