I think if it was done today it would be done differently because if the toilet was being flushed and sinks up stairs were draining at the same time the washing machine emptied, the washing machine drain might back up briefly because it couldn't suck air in from above to allow the water to flow.

You'll probably not have any parking except on the street, and you'll most likely need to walk around the back of the building, up a narrow set of stairs, to a 'cozy' apartment with the bathroom door in the cramped kitchen.

Those stairs in front look like a killer everyday for a family with groceries etc.

Stating they can't use stairs and the house is not suitable for their conditions of declining physical health.They still have about 3 months left on the lease.

What's absurd and scary is that in another building of mine, with valid state and city inspections before and after purchase, has a basement stair enclosure and door of thin wood alone!

I've got hand rails on all my stairs and no mold in the crawlspaces.

The tenant texted me to ask if I had anyone in the house (no) bc the door to where the cats litter box is was closed and they pooped all over the carpeted down stairs.

Use cement backer board.You can probably resurface the tub instead of replacing it (hopefully).

Prior issue with hopefully no issues moving forward, ment brand new flooring down stairs, and all new kitchen cabinets.
