That's about market rent, but you could possibly bump it up to $1,000 each depending on how nice the interior is.

Here is a breakdown: full kitchen remodel, new heater/AC unit/ducting, all the sheetrock in the ceiling was replaced (bad roof had caused leaking, so it was easier to replace it all),  new lightng throughout (can-styled LED lights), ceiling fans, and some other electrical work, painted interior/exterior, and tuck/pointing to a few areas of the brick facade.

Interior home design has it's trends just like the fashion industry, just a lot slower.

Also, if you're not skilled at rehab design (interior/exterior design), I HIGHLY recommend you hire a designer.  

In those days, if an appraiser could find as many as three truly comparable sales reflective of typical prices that were also arms-length, it was pretty much a miracle.Fast forward to today, where the MLS is on the internet, with interior photos of the property, with assessor data readily available, with GIS systems etc. etc.

Then maximize further by using opaque interior doors to reduce the feeling of being closed in.6.
