Sounds like they may not be since you mentioned turnkey SFR which is usually a rental property.

@Esther Iroko everyone thinks it's easy to DIY manage their rental - until it isn't.You now need to learn on the fly and quickly!

I think most people would agree that a single family home is better than a condo for a long term rental.

Hello everyone,I’m a Canadian looking to buy a short term rental vacation home in the Kissimmee area.Currently we own a long term rental home in Winter Garden which we bought some time ago, and will be paid off completely in Feb 2029.  

Those sounds like great rentals and vacancy rates have been decent - our management team only has a handful of vacanies out of the 300+ we oversee, thankful for that.

I have three single family rentals for three years and I now have my first horror story.
