The person who owned the house previously (and apparently tried to flip it.....I think.....) used that very thin, plastic coated panel board for the ceiling.

We chose plastic interlocking panels that look like tile that do basically the same thing.Good luck.I am assuming you mean hanging plastic sheets to the wall.

The area doesn't look that complected. They will probably just tent off the room with plastic and remediate it.Maybe send a pic to a few remediators and get some bids, it might not be as much as you fear.

Ideally I’d work in an office in a big city (SF or LA) Monday-Weds, and work from home Th and Fri, so I could skydive in the evenings past 5, and on weekends. There are 3 skydiving drop zones which are open Thurs and Fri evenings, each of which are about an hour from the East Bay;1 in Davis1 in Byron1 in TracyThe other major option is Perris, an hour from LA.For a very-brief rundown...1.

(Yeah unsafe.)I also took out the 1950 pink plastic tiles in the kitchen and am putting in drywall, new flooring, so will add a dishwasher, new water heater, etc. as I have the kitchen down to what should have been studs (another story, plastic covered historic fire damage, no studs).I might not get more money, but hope to get better quality renters to choose from.
