I was caught in a probate case on a note I owned where the subject property was located in Dallas.  

we are currently located in central mass, but looking to expand into western mass. 

I've had very few vacancies over the last few years since Covid, tenants have been staying put where they are located.

But things out west also are a moving target on the best of days.haha, indeed, the crazy west in both CA (my property location) and WA (my residence)One more question on LLCs. 

Most likely the state where the property is located is where lawsuits would be brought if they are something for personal injury like a trip and fall or something of that nature because the “cause of action” arose in that state.

Tenant move out in the middle of eviction process and we are unable to serve him.Any suggestions on how to proceed with money judgement as we cannot locate him to serve him ?

Location, type of home, type of rental, etc make a difference with it all. 

@Kathy Diamond as others have mentioned Memphis and other midwest locations are ideal for the 1% rule.

I’m not able to personally qualify for cash out refinances.I’m looking to sell my home located in Southwest Florida in a HOA community but want to remain in the home to lease- 3 years or more.Does anyone have experience with this type of program or have any suggestions for me on where to look to get this done.
