I like to harvest some of my equity and did it recently.

You can rank #1 on Google for what ever you like.If you wanted to rank #1 for people that were looking to buy pink elephants, wearing purple tutus, you can.The question is how many people are looking for that.

Within 2 to 5 years, you'll probably learn a lot about real estate investing and landlording, and hopefully save up more money along the way, and maybe harvest the appreciation on your primary residence to invest on a second property. 

Think estate sale with pink tile bathrooms and aqua carpeting.  

That means any weasel clause may not work, you should know your partner wouldn't accept a pink house or obvious defects.

It's very tempting to sell my primary residence and harvest some gains.

In a meeting the list of crops is decided for the year, the farmers do all the planting, care and harvesting and each months when the season starts the members get a basket of fresh organic fruit and veg.

My average BRRSR return was 40% per year the first 3 years, but they took years of knowledge, harvesting seeds of marketing /networking and were few and far betweenSimilar in 'stocks' would be to comb financial statements,  buy a company seriously under-valued, stabilize it, add value and run it properly.  

If that changes in the future - and I imagine it may at some point - then I will most likely harvest some of that equity to add more homes to the mix.
