I did get suckered into the narrative of those who say to try this method and am now realizing the sour end of the situation looking to recover in the future for the better.

However I would start building a relationship with investor friendly Realtors in your area, find one you want to work with on deals in the future and go from there.

The question is will these properties appreciate enough to offset all the repairs and issues in the future?
