@Bill Morris  here in Michigan the agreement is supposed to be signed before you reveal confidential information but I've never seen it with a date that long.

When I was doing mine, I found out my attorney would have been a goldmine of leads....if there wasn't the whole attorney/client confidentiality thing getting in the way....lol Since mediators aren't attorneys, I would wonder if they don't have the same responsibility of confidentiality and could propose you as a way to dispose of martial residences quickly......

I thought I'd be able to cherry pick through the properties for some of my buyers, but as it turns, out, this bank is being restricted with regards to the discounts they can offer.My feeling (she won't discuss what the reason is for confidentiality purposes) is that the FDIC has got them under the microscope.

During diligence, you will use the leases and other information provided by the Vendor w/r to the tenancies to compose estoppel certificates that you, or your agent, will take to each tenant to verify the information provided about their tenancy.That said, it is not unusual to share copies of the leases  *only* once there is an accepted LoI or APS and/or a confidentiality agreement in-place.

I'll bet qualifying aspects are now on line, they use to treat it rather confidential so as to reduce fraud, we did not discuss it with the public, could be our`area too.
