What do you seasoned pro's think?

Most mortgage companies require a mortgage to "season" for one year before they'll sign a partial release of mortgage.

If most are selling with older garage doors you will get a good idea that buyers aren't being put off by it. 

It’s an older motel, so other hotels are getting more guests.

Does that seasoning period apply if I cash out refi into a DSCR loan?

There is also a much larger inventory of rentals for a prospective resident to look at, a few years back we were in the 3ks for vacants and this year bumping up near 5k during the peak season (in my opinion probably due to the low entry price point for investors compared to the rest of the country as well as low interest rates on loans for folks moving out of their homes).

With older buildings, we need to be careful with the components of the building, such as roof, driveways, mechanicals.If you have to change the roof in the next 5 years, there goes any cash flow.

And yes I know no chipping paint but you know if you have done exterior paint on older buildings that is the bigger source of remediation costs doing it right or residing.
