TV stations first, then newspapers.Get some press on this and the politicians will take notice. 

I understand that Internet/Wifi is a must, but what about TV.  

About 30 years ago in Florida there was a Viet refugee associated with high end custom vehicle, and beautiful women selling you lessons to flip homes on TV.

   :) This way when you find a deal that's worthwhile you won't necessarily have pay a realtor commission on top of a wholesale fee or the like.There are resources out there (websites & data companies, squeeze pages, facebook & instagram marketing, radio & tv ads, direct mail postcards & yellow letters,  and on and on and on) that'll help you find & attract these motivated sellers. 

That's exactly the same thing I was hearing during the 2006--2007 time of "hey, look at me, I'm a flipper, just like on TV!"

Also, in your experience how important is TV/Cable.

This business isn't the overnight sensation that youtube cuts it out to be or any other tv show you see on tv.

Yes, each room is already equipped with coffee machine, TV, and cable.

., TV commercials, radio ads, do pay per click/adwords, facebook, Linkedin, Youtube, and other forms of online advertising and boosted/promoted social media postings.Bottom line is consistency.
