I am an experienced investor that accepts rent payments from my 20 units two ways. 1) Online Checking or credit card payment through Buildium Property management software.2) Good ole PO boxI am asking how others accept rent because I am tired of the PO box.

Just make sure you give 30 days notice to the landlord.If your goal is to house hack, it may be difficult to find a duplex using drive for dollars and yellow letters unless you find something owned by a tired landlord, and most of those guys know what their stuff is worth.I closed on a duplex in Portland last week.

The situation is pretty bad:- the city keeps issuing fine over fine for things like grass or "tire in the driveway" or what not like there's a cash pinada- she didn't have one tenant in the past 3 years, not even Sect 8 wants to rent there- paying taxes and insurance and what not. all current though.- it's not a drug zone but just a bad patch with unemployed peeps doing nothing productive so to speakShe wants out, really bad, ready to write off the loss just to stop losing more money every month.
