Dream is to sail around the world & check on my properties in various ports of call along the way.Plan is to start with single-family wholesale and buy & hold deals, then grow the portfolio to include multi-family.

In many neighborhoods the boat has already sailed, but you'll still find deals, but you have to go to areas like Avalon, Jefferson Park (if up on the north side, anyways).

While not necessarily "white collar" citizens, we have had nothing but smooth sailing since they moved in.

I agree with @Jerry W. that the ship has probably sailed on the easy opportunities in that area.

My husband finally convinced me that we can learn as we go so though we have huge goals and I’d love everything set up for smooth sailing, we are diving in and under contract on our first out of state property.

In a way the market is like the wind, much easier to sail with it than up against.

Sail boats pose less hassles.Imagine moving an old houseboat when finding new space is almost impossible.

Being able to stick to it is key.Nothing clears my head and brings me peace more than being out on the ocean sailing.

I think that ship has sailed.
